Where Did My Baby Go?

With the warmer weather this weekend we had not turned our air on yet so it was a little warmer than normal...so Colton got to hang out in a onesie! He looks like a little man in a baby outfit! Where did my baby go?

I can't believe he is already 17 months old! And talking up a storm!

Happy 4th Birthday Hannah!

Sunday afternoon Lauren and I went to a special Tea Party for Hannah Nana! We went to church with my parents and they took Colton from there so Lolo and I could have some girl time. :-) Thanks mom and dad!

Lauren and the birthday girl loving the party hats, feathers and gloves!

I just love this picture...I wonder what she is thinking under that little hat!

Lauren and Hannah cheersing their chocolate covered strawberries that Boni made.

Such a cute group of girls!

Tangled was the theme of the party I guess...Hannah got 3 Tangled DVD's!

Happy Birthday Hannah!

Lauren loved dressing up as Daphne from Scooby Doo!

Happy 2nd Birthday Kieran!

Saturday we got to celebrate Kiki's 2nd birthday! She had cake and pony rides and lots of fun things for the kids to do outside! Happy Birthday Kiki! We love you!

The birthday girl playing tee-ball with her cousin Colton!

Miss Brady showing all the younger kids up by going down the slide by herself and loving it!

Lauren going across the Monkey Bars

Still learning! ;-)

I just love this picture. Colton is big into pushing things around the house lately. Well, he saw Lauren driving the car so he wanted to help push her...but she hit the gas pedal and this is what happened. He hung on though! Aunt Kissy is running after him to help while I being the awesome mom I am...stopped, laughed and took this action shot!

The birthday girl wet from playing in the water.

Lauren riding a pony! She LOVED it and didn't want to take turns...but she was a little lady and shared. :-)

Aunt Nikki and Uncle Mike

Family Shot

Ava's first pony ride

Love this boy!

Uncle Mike feeding Colton some cake. He tried to give him icing at first and Colton kept saying "no" but would point at the cake so we figured out he just wanted the actual cake...not the icing. He would just open his mouth like a little bird waiting on someone to feed him. It was pretty cute!

2011 Class Pictures - February

Ok...so in all honest I did not forget about class pictures...which is why we only got class photos instead of individual photos for the kids. :-)

Can we say someone really needed a haircut!

This is Colton's class with Miss Theresa.

Trey is the boy in the red shirt on the far right.

I just love this because Lauren and Hannah are really laughing it up!

Miss Sam is the teacher. We love her! She is always in a good mood and really seems to care.

'Big' Will (as we Lauren calls him because when they were younger he was the biggest kid in her class) is in the dark blue shirt on the back row far left.

Hannah Williamson is to the right of Lauren.

Sarah Winters (Kristen Alexander's daughter) is to the right of Hannah.

Half Marathon Training...not what I expected!

So the last few weeks I've felt like I'm getting bigger and I just didn't understand it. I mean who starts training for a half marathon and actually gets bigger? Crazy right?!?!?! My pants are not fitting like they used to in the waist and legs. I guess it is muscle building which is nice, but I'm sure not liking the 'bigger' feeling! Well I started searching for answers and I think I have found some. Looks like I won't have that lean runners body until after the half is over. That's a bummer...however I'm still going to cut my calories by 500 more than I burn a day and see if that helps me...because my no likey the extra bulk!

Check out these links for answers!

Happy 31st to Me!

Kraig had a meeting in St. Louis, MO on my 31st birthday so thanks to Uncle Ryan, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Brian and Aunt Kristen I was able to tag along and enjoy some 'me' time for my big 31st birthday! Both families would send us photos while we were gone to let us know what they were doing. Ryan picked up the kids Thursday from school and they got to spend the night with their cousin Kiki. Then they went to school Friday and Kristen picked up the kids and they got to spend the night with their cousin Ava and then they were sad to see us Saturday when we picked them up...I think they had too much fun with their little cousins!

The kids in Uncle Ryan's truck after school Thursday...
the dinner with Kiki
And I just love this picture...after their baths Uncle Ryan brushed Lauren's hair before bedtime.
Friday Kristen and Brian picked up the kids from school and actually got all 3 kids in the backseat with 3 car seats! Amazing!
Then a little play time before dinner and baths
Saturday morning they had home made waffles and bacon...thanks for ruining my frozen waffle breakfast for the kids Kris! LOL I had something good going...just kidding.
It was beautiful Saturday so they had a picnic in the park...Ava wanted to eat flowers and Colton thought about jumping in the water...but didn't. :-)
Funny stories about the kids while we were gone:
(In Kristen's words)
· Colty’s favorite game was to hide from us…he is so quiet…and we would find him behind the shower curtain, or curtains in the dining room….it was hilarious because I would be freaking out and when I found him…he had the biggest smile!
· On Saturday morning –Lolo woke up in the guest room crying because she was scared of the dark…(it was about 6)…so I went in and snuggled her and she fell back asleep. So I went back to our room. About 6:30 I hear “Kissy…it’s morning time now!”…so I laugh and tell her to come in our room. Brian was standing up with shorts on and no shirt and Lolo says, “um, Kissy you didn’t tell me Uncle Brian was NAKED!” and I said, “he isn’t naked, he has shorts on” and she said, “yeah, but he doesn’t have a shirt on”. (that was so funny….i was terrified she would run home telling you we were naked all weekend…LOL)
· On Saturday we took a walk around our neighborhood…we passed the CRAZY house that is decorated for St Pat’s day….she punched one of the wooden elves in the head…and laughed. I asked her why and she said , “I don’t like elves…I punch them in the face!” and Uncle Brian told her we don’t punch anyone---so she ran up and gave him a hug!! She is hilarious.
· Colty is a daredevil!! He would climb all over our bed (that is tall) and try and flip off the end of it!! Gave me heart attacks! LOL
****************************************************************
While the kids were busy with their cousins we went out to dinner at Ruth's Chris for my Bir-day (yes it is misspelled on purpose...Beck family joke)
Kraig surprised me with a trip to the spa during his meeting Friday for a 1 hour Massage and 1 hour Pedicure! Much needed! Thanks babe!
When I got back there were flowers waiting for me...
Thanks for being so good to me babe!
Thanks Ryan, Lisa, Kristen and Brian for keeping our kiddos! They had a great time and we look forward to returning the favor soon.

Hot Rollers!

Someone wanted rollers in her hair this morning like Mommy...
I didn't spray it to hold the curl...since she was going to school...but I see lots of fun hair days ahead for us! Love you baby girl!
