10 Weeks Old

Colton is now 10 weeks old...that means I'm going back to work in 2 short weeks! :-(

He now weighs 14 pounds 1 ounce! Crazy how fast they grow up! Tomorrow he will be walking and Lauren will be teaching him to ride a bike, etc...He is cooing, smiling, laughing and loves to take baths! The colic is still here but it's not as bad as it was 5 or 6 weeks ago. Not sure if it's the Gripe Water, his age, the fact that I'm not drinking milk or a combination of the three that is making it better...but whatever it is we are keeping it up because it makes our days easier! He just started liking his bouncy seat which is nice...you even laugh at the three animals on it which makes us smile! He is starting to wear 3-6 month clothes because his 0-3 month clothes are starting to get tight so I figured I'd go ahead and move him up so he is comfortable. :-) He is still eating every 2-3 hours (except at night he does awesome and sleeps for 4 hours and then 3 hours!) but I'm hoping to move it to every 3 hours 100% of the time before I go back to work.

It's so true that until you have a child you don't know what that love is like! You think you know...but honestly until you have your own you just can't fully understand the amount of love God gives each of us to share! He truly is the one and only Almighty! Thank you God for giving me such a wonderful loving family! I'm truly blessed!

Santa's Gift

I think someone likes her new playhouse!
She watches TV in it...

And even takes time to say hello to her mama! :-)
Love you baby girl!
P.S. this is not the final location for the playhouse...it was just where we first put it when we came home from Christmas at the Beck's. :-)

Cookie Night with the Henry's

The Henry's have an annual cookie decorating party to celebrate Christmas with Hayden's friends...we got to roll out the dough, cut the cookies and even cook them! Well we let the professionals cook them...and Lauren had already had a lot of sugar that day and Colton was getting hungry so we left before decorating them (more cookies for the other kids to decorate) but we had a great time! Thanks for the invite Hayden!
We started out patting the dough...
Moved up to a rolling pin...
Then cut out cookies...
And Lauren loves Miss Jessica so she of course had to have Miss Jessica help her too! Thanks for your help Jess! You are too good to us!

Bath Time with Daddy

We have a routine on the weekends of Lauren and Colton getting baths first thing in the morning because they enjoy the water and Lauren likes to play games. Here are some pictures of their baths with daddy!
