I went to Los Angeles, CA this past Sunday for work and didn't get home until Thursday...so needless to say I missed my family! Kraig left for Austin, TX on Friday...so we only got to see each other Thursday night...but he is on his way home now! :-) I'm telling you that because when I got home it seemed like my baby girl had grown up SO much! Her hair was thicker and longer (we are starting to see some curl in the back) and she was just talking so much...saying Mama, Daddy, Nana, Papa, Milk, Baby, etc...it was just yesterday that she was born right?!?!?! Anyway, I'm telling you that because all I have done since I got back was take photos of her...so I hope you enjoy them! I sure do!

Singing
As some of you know, my sister Tammy sings (and does a great job I might add!) So Saturday night she was singing and Lauren and I went to watch her.
Lauren dancing to the music
Lunch with Granny Barenberg
Saturday my niece and nephew had soccer games so Lauren and I watched them and then had lunch with my mom at Market Place.
Lauren wondering when I'm going to stop kissing her!
When they got to the bottom of the ramp my mom tried to get Lauren to walk back up the ramp and Lauren was not having it! I think she was worried that going up the ramp meant that we would go inside again and she LOVES being outside right now!
Thanks for your help granny! I really could do it by myself (at least I think so...mom's not so sure)...but it's nice to hold your hand!
This video is of Lauren talking...I'm sorry it's after a minute and a half...but I have not had time to edit the video...so if you will watch for 1.5 minutes you will hear Lauren saying Papa, Nana, Mama, Dada, Nona, bye bye, etc...it's cute!

Dinner with Grandpa and Granny Barenberg
Friday night, Lauren and I had the pleasure of having dinner with my mom and dad. Lauren really gets a kick out of the things they will do to make her laugh!

Lauren's New Hat
My mom (Granny Barenberg) got Lauren a cute purple hat...so before I left for CA we went to their house and I got some cute photos of her wearing it.
Playing in the grass.
Lauren practicing her tae kwan-do. Just kidding...she was going to fast and I caught her fall on camera.
Man did she love this cat! Not so sure the cat felt the same about her...but she sure tried to catch him!

I love you baby girl!

Poor Baby!
Well, we got a call today around 12 noon from daycare that Lauren had thrown up 2 times. :-( I called the Dr.'s office and they could not get her in until 4:20 p.m. so Kraig went to pick her up. I finished a few things at work and left around 1 p.m. so that Kraig could go back to work and I could take care of Lauren. I always hate it when she is sick because there is not much you can do but you just feel so bad! I just held her this afternoon and kissed her cheeks to hopefully make her feel better. When we got to the Dr's office he said she looks great so it must be a stomach virus as they have had a lot of people with that lately. He said that we should not kiss on her and to make sure we wash our hands often because it's contagious and I instantly thought "I've been kissing her all afternoon!" but at the same time when we left there and she was crying and screaming I thought all I want to do is get home so I can hold her and kiss her to make her feel better! So I hope I don't get what she has, but if I do, making her feel better by comforting her was well worth it! The good news is the Dr. said that the throwing up part of the virus normally last only 24 hours...but then after that they will have diarrhea for 2 or 3 days more. I can handle diarrhea better than I can vomiting because I think it's easier on Lauren too! So please pray that Lauren will not throw up any more and that Kraig and I don't catch the virus! Thank you!

1st Annual Camp Quality Mini-Golf Tourney
My friend Misty Ceola has been apart of Camp Quality for years. This year she decided to put together her own event to raise money for kids with and survivors of cancer. Tonight we participated in the 1st Annual Camp Quality Mini-Golf Tourney in Fayetteville. Misty I'm very proud of you for doing this! The even turned out great and it is such a wonderful cause! Of course we hope we never know a kid with cancer, but until they find a cure our chances are very slim. So thank you Misty for letting us have a great time tonight while Puttin' for a Great Cause! :-)
If you would like more information on this charity, their website is http://ar.campqualityusa.com/index.htm. If you would like to make a donation to Misty's Tournament please email Misty at mceola@sbcglobal.net.
Little Lauren got to play mini-golf for the first time. She was not a big fan of putting her ball down, or hitting it really...she just wanted to walk around (all over the place I might add) while carrying her putter and purple golf ball. I knew it might be a challenge having her there, but I was up for it because as they say "it's not whether you win or lose, it's about the experience" so I wanted to take my baby girl to play especially since it was for such a great cause. The thing I didn't plan for was all the bricks they have around each hole so in the long run I didn't realize what a workout it was going to be making sure she didn't fall into one of them because all she wanted to do was walk and it's not flat ground either! After about 45 minutes it was time for us to go since it was almost her bed time and she was getting very tired...so Lauren and I headed home and left the boys to finish out our round.
Our team - Kraig, Chad, Me & Lauren and Jason
Isn't she cute!
Like I said...Lauren was not a big fan of putting down her purple golf ball...so when it was in the hole, she just pointed at the hole like "hello! Can someone help me?!?!?!"
