9 hours of sleep!!!
This cute little guy slept in his crib from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. last night! He woke up once at 1 am but we let him cry it out and he went back to sleep and slept until 5:30 a.m.! I'm so proud of you Colton! Maybe there is something to this thing called sleep that other people talk about! LOL I'm ready to get back into a routine of working out in the morning so with Colton and Lauren sleeping from 8:30-5:30 or 6:30 (like Lauren did last night) that might actually happen!

First Soccer Practice
Last night was Lauren's first soccer practice! It was HOT outside (5:30 pm) so we both worked up a good sweat (and all I did was stand on the sidelines)! It was so cute to see the little 3 year olds running around kicking the soccer ball!

Something I Never Thought I'd Hear My Daughter Say...
This morning as we are leaving the house for school and work Lauren casually says "Mama is your bootie big or no?" I thought "what has your daddy been teaching you?" but I just laughed and said "ha my butt is big sweetie" and I looked back and Kraig was just laughing. :-) Love you Lolo...even though you ask some funny questions!
BTW...I was told that Kraig has NOT been telling Lolo my "bootie is big". :-) Love you babe!

Colton is pulling up!
The last few days I've noticed Colton will crawl somewhere and then push himself to a sitting position. Tonight he decided to take it to the next step! Tonight my baby boy pulled himself up from sitting position to standing in his crib! Then the next second what is my fast learner doing? WALKING! While holding on of course...but still...from crawling just a few weeks ago to pulling up and walking while holding on...I think that is a pretty great way to start out your 9th month don't you? :-) We love you Colty!

Ava Katherine Pledger has arrived!
Tuesday, July 13th Kraig and I got a new member added to our family...our niece Ava Katherine Pledger. She arrived happy and healthy at 4:41 pm! Mom Kristen and baby Ava are doing great and dad Brian even got to play nurse for a bit because mom's labor was going so fast. :-) She weighed in at 6 lbs, 12 oz and is 18 inches long. She is just a perfect little peach!

House Updates 2010 Part 2
Below are some before and after pictures of our house remodel. I still need to get a few pics but the majority is below. We still have to hang pictures, paintings, drapes, etc but I wanted to take a few pics and put them on the blog since it's been a while since the house construction has been done.

This was all we had prior to adding the Entertainment room...a nice room above our garage that was bright orange...but now we have it (with a new coat of beach paint) plus the Entertainment room! We also added storage into the wall with the built in and baskets.
