Snowcation 2011 continues

Tuesday night we were supposed to get a few inches of snow. Well a few turned into 18+ inches! So needless to say we are at home again and are snowed in. :-) I've never seen snow like this in NWA!

To show a comparison the first picture was around 8 am...the second is in the afternoon.

Remember the snowman we made on Saturday...well it is now covered in snow up to it's belly! and yes that is Lauren's bike handle bars sticking out of the snow!

Me taking Bo out to potty. Poor guy...he would NOT go in the snow! It was up to his shoulders!

Kraig went to work today (Thursday) and I'm at home with the kids because our daycare is closed due to the weather. These were the tire tracks his truck made. CRAZY!

It sure is pretty though!

Lauren's Room Improvements

So with all the snow outside I decided to finish a project I've been putting off. I've had Lauren's bow holder on the floor in her room since who knows when...and I've had her name just sitting on the dresser for months...so it's finally time to hang them both. :-)

Snow/Ice-cation of 2011

So this is why we have stayed home the past 3 days with today being #4...it's the first Snowcation of 2011! I'm staying home again today because #1 the ice on the road and #2 the Throttle body on Kraig's truck is messed up and we are waiting on Chevy to get the part in...so we have 1 car right now. :-)

This weather has been crazy! It's been -5 degrees this week! CRAZY! Our cars have been staying outside the garage so our Lab Bo can stay in the garage since it's so cold!

And it's supposed to snow another 2-3 inches today!

We have not been out in the snow this week because it's been too cold and the fact that ice is under the snow so if the kids fell it would hurt more...but if we get another 2-3 inches I see some snow playtime outside this weekend!

First House Destruction Incident

Last Thursday I got to play in a charity golf tournament for work. I brought home a goody bad of golf balls and tees, etc. Lauren was playing with the golf tees and I turned my head for a second and when I looked back she was using the golf tee as a nail into the wall! This is what I found...

Then the same day we were in Lauren room and walked out into the hall and Kraig pointed this out...looks normal right?

Until you look a little closer. :-)

I mean who wouldn't want to decorate with cute kitty bandaids right?!?!?!

House Updates 2010 Part 2

Below are some before and after pictures of our house remodel. I still need to get a few pics but the majority is below. We still have to hang pictures, paintings, drapes, etc but I wanted to take a few pics and put them on the blog since it's been a while since the house construction has been done.

This was all we had prior to adding the Entertainment room...a nice room above our garage that was bright orange...but now we have it (with a new coat of beach paint) plus the Entertainment room! We also added storage into the wall with the built in and baskets.
