Hi Daddy!

Kraig has been out of town this week hunting. Last night he called us and I held the phone up to Lauren's ear and said "say hi" and she said "Hi Daddy"!!!! Kraig and I stopped and said "did she just say Hi Daddy"? We were shocked because she has been talking for a while but this was the first time she said Hi and Daddy together. We were excited so I had to document it! :-)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I said I would post more photos...well 2 weeks later here they are. Aunt Kristen and Uncle Brian were going outside and Lauren wanted to go. She loved driving! So much so that she cried when we took her off the mule. Don't worry baby girl...you will get your fill of driving when you get older. :-)

I will post more photos next week but for now here is a photo of Lauren sleeping in the car. We went to the cabin Wednesday for the Thanksgiving holiday and came back today. Lauren loves the cabin because it's still all relatively new to her so she just plays so hard. We were in the car about 30 minutes and she was out! She slept for 1.5 hours but her head kept falling forward...so after about 15 minutes I had to pull over and put "pillows" up beside her head so she would be more comfortable. You will see that we had to have a little help from some of her favorite toys.

Say Cheese!

We went to the cabin the first weekend of November with Aunt Kristen and Uncle Brian (Saturday night). Kristen was our videographer. Here we were giving Lauren a bath and she started saying "Cheese". :-) Enjoy!

One day a few weeks ago (11-2-08) we were asking for high fives and Lauren was loving it! She was having a blast and laughing so hard...so I recorded it.

The same day Lauren was giving high fives...she was giving away kisses...to herself! I promise I didn't feed her sugar that day! She was just that happy! :-)

Uncle Spencer and Maxwell

Lauren loves her Uncle Spencer...Max (Nana and Papaw Beck's dog) is just an added bonus. I would like to make a correction...prior to correcting this I was calling Max - Mack because Lauren calls him Maa (or Mack without the ck)...and I was getting him confused with Mack (Greg and Jen's dog) so when I posted this...while trying to catch up on post I might add...I typed in Mack...so Maxwell (Max for short) please forgive me! Lauren loves you no matter what I call you...she knows your name! LOL!

So...Uncle Spencer was holding Max and making him dance so Lauren decided to join in on the fun. She was dancing and Laughing with them! All Max has to do is get near Lauren and she laughs! Nana keeps trying to get Lauren her own Max...but mommy and daddy keep saying that Lauren will be just fine without one! :-)

*This was again on the same night Lauren had been laughing all day!

Aunt Kristen and Uncle Brian took Lauren outside to look at the pond. Let me just say that neon orange is not Aunt Kristen's favorite color even though she looks good in it...but it was deer season...so orange was required!

Lauren thought this was so much fun to sit in this big chair by herself! She was just relaxed reading her book and having a great time!

Someone had a little too much fun at the cabin and was tuckered out! I think she was asleep within 10 minutes after we left the cabin! Her little head kept falling forward so we put her toy puppy beside her head to keep it in place and make her a little more comfortable.

Thanks for spending the weekend with us at the cabin Aunt K and Uncle B! We had a great time!

The Cabin - Friday Night

We went to the cabin with Keisha, Ryan and Jackson Stearle the first weekend of November (Friday night). Lauren is 17 months old and Jackson is 5 months old. We all had a great time...I just wish we could get together more often! Hopefully someday the Stearle's will live closer to us! :-)

Now I see what my mom was talking about when she said you reap what you sew! I'm sorry mom for ever thinking I knew more than you! I'm sure Lauren will pay me back some day and I will be calling you and you will just laugh! :-)

Lauren had her first bite of bacon at the cabin! She LOVED it! Look at that smile!

I had to put this picture in here because this was a BIG moment for Lauren and Ryan. We all love Ryan and know that Lauren does too, but for some reason she was a little nervous around him at first...it probably didn't help that daddy told Ryan to hide around the corner and when she comes out of the room jump out at her! I promise Ryan...she normally laughs at that...not cries! She finally warmed up to him though and let him show her the animals around the house. Thanks Ryan for being a sport!

We had a great time and can't wait to see you all again!

Dinner with Poppa Louie and Nona Donna

Last night Poppa Louie and Nona Donna were in town from Hot Springs. Everyone went to Tim's Pizza in Tontitown for dinner and I luckily got off work earlier than expected (since it is mod season) and was able to meet them...right when the pizza was ready! Hay Ride

Lauren had her first hay ride this weekend. Her cousin Katlyn turned 7 this weekend so part of her birthday was a hay ride...Lauren had a good time!

Saturday Lauren did not want to take a nap in her bed...she just wanted to hang out with Kraig and me. So after 1 hour of her playing and crying in her crib I went and got her and let her watch the Razorback game with us on the couch. After about 5 minutes she was out!

This is when we could not wake her up! I guess she was comfortable! She slept for 2 hours and would have slept longer but we had to wake her up to go to Katlyn's Birthday Party.

Yes I know she does not match, but she had jeans on with this shirt and if you are like me jeans are not comfortable to sleep in...so I just put on some pajama pants...that's why they don't match. :-)

We had lunch today with my mom, sister and Lauren's cousin Katlyn.

Katlyn wanted to feed Lauren and she did get a few bites in...but after a few Lauren was over it and just wanted to drink from the straw! :-)
