Aunt Lisa's Baby Shower

Saturday February 21st Kristen and I hosted a baby shower for our sister-in-law Lisa Beck. Baby Kieren Mackenzie Beck is due to arrive on Easter weekend...April 11th! Lisa looks great and we are all so excited to meet her! Kristen and I have already been fighting about who will babysit her more. :-) Little Lauren was just playing up the crowd...at one point she decided to drink her milk and then spit it out slowly down the front of her dress....she was the door greeter (wearing Lisa's Tiara I might add)...and then she had to show off her new stuff like aunt Lisa was doing. She was having a great time! Here are a few pics from the shower.
This blanket was made by one of Kristen's co-workers. Didn't she do a fabulous job! It even has baby Kieran's name embroidered on it!
Here is our little door greeter wearing Aunt Lisa's Mom To Be Tiara.
Lauren wanted to help write down the gifts...so Aunt Kristen would tell her what to write down and Lauren would just act like she knew what was going on and follow along. :-) Thanks Kristen for sharing your duties! Hehe
Here is where I think Lauren got the idea to show of her new bunny toy! I wish I would have gotten a photo of it...but she saw Lisa showing off her new stuff so Lauren picked up her new bunny and stood in front of Kristen and held her bunny up to each person that was in the room! It was like "What do you think of this?" It was too cute...we were all laughing! Sorry I didn't get a photo. :-(

When Ryan and Papaw arrived to load all the gifts in the car Lauren and Papaw played pretty hard! Here they were playing with a pink feather and Lauren just loved it!
And last but not least...Here is Lisa and Ryan. Baby Kieran will be here soon! Only 7 wks to go! See why we are all praying that Lisa will have a smooth labor! Ryan is only 6+feet tall! Little Lisa is around my height at 5' 4 something...or maybe 5' 5? (Sorry Lisa if that is wrong...hehe...I'm just getting the point across that Ryan is a tall guy!)
Love you guys! Can't wait to meet baby Kieran...and YES by the way...I won the babysitting contest...well ok...not really...but I'm hoping to win in the future! :-)

Valentines Day

Ok, so it's been a few weeks since I've posted anything on the blog which is unusual for me but we have had something every weekend for a few weeks now, so I've been a little busy. I'm starting to get to my really busy time at work as well. I'll post a few in a row...The weekend after the zoo was Valentines day. We decided that it would be fun to spend the day together instead of Kraig and I going out so on Valentines Day (Saturday this year). Kraig made us all a wonderful Spaghetti and Meatball dinner! He used the recipe his grandmother gave him and it turned out spectacular...just like everything he cooks! So daddy...Lauren and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We are so thankful to have you in our lives!
We spent the day around the house playing with Lauren's new things we got her as a Valentines day gift. She got books, puzzles and the movie Madagascar! She enjoyed them all...however I think Shrek still wins over Madagascar. :-)
Happy Valentines Day baby girl!!! We love you!
Look at the attitude!
What a smile!

Tulsa Zoo!

The weather was so nice Saturday (in the 60's) my sister and I decided to take our kids to the Tulsa Zoo. We had a blast!

Here are the kids at the entrance of the zoo.

Lauren doing what the big kids do...
Monkeying around

Looking at the chimps.

Carousel ride

Lets just say someone was not happy when we had to get off the ride!

Snakes...

Lizards...

Birds...

Austin being a boy...

We took a break and let the kids play at the outdoor play area.

Flamingos...

Sea Lions...

Bears...

Look at my big girl! Isn't she cute?!?!?!

Once again...Lauren is trying to just fit right in with the big kids! What ever they did she wanted to do. including climbing on the fence to see the animals better!

Zebras...

Giraffes...

Katlyn and Austin on the turtle.

Lauren loved the Children's Zoo. They only had goats out the day we went...but Lauren didn't mind. She was just running around trying to pet each goat and love on them! It was cute!

Hey, wait a minute! I want to pet you both!

The kids sitting in a wagon. Don't they look like they are having a good time!

Now it's my turn to get in the photo. :-)

And the finale...the car ride home.

One tired child...

Tired child #2

And tired child #3

When I looked back from the front seat this is what I saw...
And finally...about 20 minutes into the ride home this is what happened.

Then when we got back home we stopped by my mom's and dad's house to tell them about our trip and Lauren, Katlyn and my mom were all dancing.
