Date with Hayden

Chad and Hayden came over last night for a visit. The kids really have not got together that much, so they had fun and did really well together. Lauren was playing with Hayden's cars and Hayden was very nice and let her! The kids are really growing up fast! They are 3 weeks apart and Hayden is bigger than Lauren by about 1.5 pounds...and Lauren is older. Hehe It was funny because I fixed the kids chicken tenders and blueberry muffins and Chad said "oh, I already fed Hayden"...the next thing we knew Hayden was going from person to person taking bites. :-) Chad said he is a garbage disposal and he will eat anything! I guess boys are different...I pretty much have to make Lauren eat! Thanks for coming over Chad...we enjoyed it!

Shrek!

Lately, Lauren wants to watch Shrek 24/7 which creates a problem because we normally only let her watch movies while we are in the car. So recently she starts crying when I turn down our street because she knows it's time to get out of the car. So we brought Shrek in the house the other day and Lauren loves it! She just wanted to sit in her chair and watch the movie.

Where's Lauren?

Lauren's new thing is to find places to hide. She thought our kitchen cabinet was the perfect place! Now I'll open it and find her dolls inside of it...oh the things kids to to amuze themselves.

Someone likes Spaghetti!

We got Mama Z's for dinner one night and I wanted to see what Lauren thought of it. I knew it would be messy so I took her top off...as you can see she LOVED it!
We started singing Itsy Bitsy Spider while eating...

And she's done!

Christmas in Springdale

We have a tradition of spending the night at Nana and Papaw Beck's house on Christmas Eve and this year was no different. We go to church, have dinner and then open gifts!
Melissa got Lauren this adorable outfit for Christmas so she wore in Christmas Eve at the Beck household.

We are about to open gifts!!!
Last year Lauren was too little to really get into opening gifts...but this year she loved it!
Uncle Mike helping Lauren open her new piano.
Lauren loves her baby's. So in the photos below you can see that she wanted to rock them in her chair! They are so fun at this age! They just find new things to do all the time! I love it!
Someone is getting tired...
Mimi opening some of her gifts.
Someone woke up to this on Christmas Morning! Look what Santa brought!!!

Hey...babies need to ride in the pink car too!
Dad...take me for a ride!

Uncle Spencer helping Lauren with her seat belt...yes it has a seat belt! Isn't it cute!
Santa also brought Lauren a new stroller for her new Cabbage Patch Doll.

Lauren loves "her" mini chair at Nana and Papaw's. We were watching Christmas movies and Lauren just pulled up her chair and enjoyed the show!
Aunt Kristen and Uncle Brian got Lauren this Princess shopping cart. It came with it's own groceries so Lauren was having fun taking them out and putting them back in the cart.

Then Aunt Kristen showed her the real pantry! She loaded up!

More driving the car...
Sitting with Mimi.
Helping Spencer & Chelsey...

Lauren loves her Uncle Mike!
Someone found the M & M's! Mimi???

This was an awesome Christmas all the way around. We got to spend time with all of our families and Lauren is at the age where she really enjoys everything! So thanks to everyone! We love you and hope you enjoyed our company as well!
