Lauren's First Soccer Game 2010

Lauren had her first ever soccer game this weekend! She didn't want to play once we got there until her cousin Katlyn showed up...then we kept saying "you have to show Katlyn how you can kick the ball" so she went out there. Thanks Katlyn!
Lauren got to kick off for one or two plays...
I'm ready coach! Lets go!
With 3 and 4 year olds there was a lot of this...
And some of this...
All the while...little brother was doing some of this...
Our coach's wife brought pom-poms so the girls could cheer while on the side lines. Great idea!

She just looks so darn cute! Great job Lolo!
At the end of each game we will form a tunnel for the kids to run through for some "great job!" fun! I think the parents enjoy it as much as the kids!

And Granny Barenberg getting in on the grandkid fun! (sorry mom this was the best photo I could get with all 4 of them) :-)
Thanks Katlyn and Austin for coming to Lolo's game! As you can see she was very happy you were there!
(thanks mom and Tammy for helping with the cameras!)

Swim Ranch 2010

We had a lot of fun at Swim Ranch this year. Lauren remembered most of the things since it was the same class as last year (she gets to move up next year) but it was all new to Colton (who was in my belly last year). He loves the water so most days he enjoyed it! My mom came to see us in action and thankfully took some photos for us. It's kind of hard to get photos when both parents are in the water! Thanks mom!

Look What I've Been Up To!

I like to pull up on everything these days (which scares my mommy) but it's fun for me! Here is a shot of me using my skills pulling up on the swing to get my school bus book (thanks Nona).

Hair

My mom used to braid my hair and I loved it. I have tried to braid Lauren's before but it falls out the second she moves. Now that her hair is a little longer and thicker I thought I'd try it again...so here is what it looked like this morning before school.
And this is what it looked like when I picked her up...
(I'll post pics tonight)

This Morning I Woke Up To...

the sweetest noise a mama can hear. Her baby boy just gibber-jabbering in his room. He didn't cry when he woke up...he just started playing and talking to himself. I overheard him on the monitor and just had to go get him because it was the cutest thing ever! I love you Colton and am proud of you for truly sleeping through the night now!

Just Because...

she's so cute! This was just outside her school this morning in one of her favorite outfits. Her Cinderella dress that twirls! Love you baby girl!

Family Trip to the Gentry Wilderness Safari

Saturday morning Kraig and I took Lauren and Colton to the Gentry Wilderness Safari and we all had a blast! We got to feed monkeys, ring tail lemurs (like on the movie Madagascar!) and saw baby tigers eating from bottles! We first drove through and saw Zebras, Monkeys, Cows, Rhinos, Camels, Deer and some other funny animals. Kraig was driving so we didn't stop much because we didn't want the Emus to peck at our windows! :-)

Lauren is like her mama and not afraid of many animals. :-)
If you look close enough you can see the baby in the pouch of this mama kangaroo!
Someone got to sit in my lap during the drive through part and enjoyed being out of his car seat!
