Sleeping and Bumbo time

Last weekend Colton slept in his crib for the first time. It was a nap...not at night, but hey, its a start right. :-)

Lauren, Colton and I went to the mall last weekend and Lauren got to pick out her own bow. It was purple and didn't exactly match her blue and brown dress, but hey, she was proud so I didn't stop her from wearing it! Isn't she pretty!

While we were at the mall the lady at Dillards let Lauren swipe my card. She LOVED it and felt like a big girl!

Because she was a good girl, she got to drive the Ice Cream Truck!

Target

The three of us went to Target 2 wks ago after going to a baby shower and we made it in and out of Target without any issues! Both kids did great so I had to get a picture of the moment. :-)

Colton's First Haircut

When Colton was born he had a lot more hair than Lauren did. We were able to form his hair into a Mohawk. Well as he has gotten older that hair has moved back and gotten longer while the rest of his hair grows in. Because of this he had one spot that was much longer than the rest of his hair and kinda looked like Alfalfa! So today we decided to cut off Alfalfa spot. Here are the results.

Lauren and Colton

Lauren loves to sing to Colton and he loves it too! The last week or so she will stand in front of the pack n play in the mornings and sing him the ABC's or Itsy Bitsy Spider, etc and this morning her song of choice was the Dora the Explorer song. :-) Colton loves it so I had to get a photo. Enjoy!

Colton's 4 Month Check Up

We had Colton's 4 month check up Friday the 19th.

He weighed 15 lbs and 10 oz, is 25 inches tall and his head was 17.24 inches around.

That means he is in the 50th percentile in height, 60-70th percentile in weight and 90th percentile in head size. :-)

He received the following shots/immunizations:
Rotateq 2.0 mL PO
Prevnar 0.5 mL IM
Pentacel 0.5 mL IM

Colton you are such a joy! You are so laid back and love to smile! You sleep like a charm (from 8-2:30 or 3 and then again until 5:30 ish) and have started talking with your coos and squeals and love to put your hands in your mouth...we love you baby boy!!!
