Christmas with Melissa

Melissa visited us yesterday and brought gifts! What a treat! Lauren got to open her gift as well as Colton's so she was excited about that! Thanks Melissa for the books! They are the neatest things!!! They are story books that have each of my kids birth info in it as well as the spelling of their name used in the book...it's so cool! Thanks again Melissa! We love them and you! :-)

Cookie Night

Every year we have a cookie decorating night at the Beck's house. As you can see we all had fun!

I had to post this picture because all night I kept saying "one finger" when she would touch stuff around the tree...but this time I wanted to get a photo so I said "go touch the ribbon" and she looked at me like "but I'm going to get in trouble mom!"

Play Date at Chick Fil A

Today, Lauren, Colton and I met up with our friends Jennifer, Lindsey, Stella, Rhett, Melanie and Scarlett for a much needed play date! We went to Chick Fil A and let the kids play while the adults caught up on what's been going on in our lives. Thanks girls! I had a great time and I know Lauren did too!

My 7 week old baby boy weighed 12.39 pounds Monday! That is 12 pounds and 6 ounces!!!

1st Hair Cut

Today marks Lauren's 2 year and 6 month birthday! So we decided to get her hair cut to even it all up because she had lots of short pieces and long pieces but they were just everywhere...so we got some shape cut in it. I think it's adorable!

Colton - 6 weeks old

Colton turned 6 weeks old yesterday and he weighed 11.4 pounds or 11 pounds and 6.4 ounces! That means he has gained over 4 pounds in 6 weeks. :-) He is growing faster than his sister did because she only weighed 10 lbs 8 oz at 6 weeks old and he was 1 ounce smaller than her at birth. :-)

He started smiling last week (not gas smiles...but actual smiles) so that was exciting! He has however started acting colicky (on Thanksgiving day :-( poor family) so that is not good...but we are making it through and are about to start adjusting my diet to see if that helps.

If anyone has any tips for a colicky baby please let me know. Thanks!
