The Cabin - Friday Night

We went to the cabin with Keisha, Ryan and Jackson Stearle the first weekend of November (Friday night). Lauren is 17 months old and Jackson is 5 months old. We all had a great time...I just wish we could get together more often! Hopefully someday the Stearle's will live closer to us! :-)
Lauren wearing Jackson's hat.
Lauren and Jackson saying..."what are we supposed to do?"
"Oh, yeah...smile!!!!!"
Jackson and Lauren trying to figure out this hold the hand thing...

Look at that adorable smile!

Look at the look Lauren is giving me! She was trying to push me away because she thinks she is bigger than she is! Oh man am I in trouble when she gets older! Now I see what my mom was talking about when she said you reap what you sew! I'm sorry mom for ever thinking I knew more than you! I'm sure Lauren will pay me back some day and I will be calling you and you will just laugh! :-)

Oh Keisha...we are in SO much trouble when they get older!
I wonder where Jackson gets those gorgeous brown eyes????
Lauren and daddy playing ball.
Lauren cheering me on!
Keisha playing...
Ryan playing with a little helper beside him...Jackson...you will be able to help next year! I promise!
Lauren had her first bite of bacon at the cabin! She LOVED it! Look at that smile!
I had to put this picture in here because this was a BIG moment for Lauren and Ryan. We all love Ryan and know that Lauren does too, but for some reason she was a little nervous around him at first...it probably didn't help that daddy told Ryan to hide around the corner and when she comes out of the room jump out at her! I promise Ryan...she normally laughs at that...not cries! She finally warmed up to him though and let him show her the animals around the house. Thanks Ryan for being a sport!
We had a great time and can't wait to see you all again!

Dinner with Poppa Louie and Nona Donna

Last night Poppa Louie and Nona Donna were in town from Hot Springs. Everyone went to Tim's Pizza in Tontitown for dinner and I luckily got off work earlier than expected (since it is mod season) and was able to meet them...right when the pizza was ready! Good timing on my part!Anyway...here are some photos of Lauren with her Nona Donna and Poppa Louie.
Lauren eating a cracker at the table.
Poppa Louie giving Lauren a kiss.

Nona Donna showing Lauren how to turn her fish to make noise...thanks Donna! LOL

Lauren giving her Nona a hug.

I think this is the first family photo I have where all three are at least looking at the camera! We will have to work on this at Christmas so I can get more!

Hay Ride

Lauren had her first hay ride this weekend. Her cousin Katlyn turned 7 this weekend so part of her birthday was a hay ride...Lauren had a good time!

Our Family

All the kids were singing songs...

Mommy and Daddy

I'm not really sure what was going on here...maybe Lauren didn't like their singing or something? What a face?!?!?!

Naptime with Mom!

Saturday Lauren did not want to take a nap in her bed...she just wanted to hang out with Kraig and me. So after 1 hour of her playing and crying in her crib I went and got her and let her watch the Razorback game with us on the couch. After about 5 minutes she was out!
This is how she started.
More snuggling with mom...look at how her cute little arms are crossed.
This is when we could not wake her up! I guess she was comfortable! She slept for 2 hours and would have slept longer but we had to wake her up to go to Katlyn's Birthday Party.
Yes I know she does not match, but she had jeans on with this shirt and if you are like me jeans are not comfortable to sleep in...so I just put on some pajama pants...that's why they don't match. :-)

Lunch with Cousin Katlyn

We had lunch today with my mom, sister and Lauren's cousin Katlyn.

Katlyn wanted to feed Lauren and she did get a few bites in...but after a few Lauren was over it and just wanted to drink from the straw! :-)

Katlyn showed Lauren how to color. Thanks Katlyn!

This photo is a little blurry and that's because Lauren and Katlyn were moving their heads side to side. You can see from the smiles, that they really enjoy each others company!

Katlyn and Tammy were tickling Lauren...

Halloween 2008

Lauren was playing a game with Uncle Spencer where she would take stuff out of her Bee sack and put in his mouth. She thought it was a lot of fun!

Happy Halloween everyone!
